can I use a heatsink for mobile on desktop (MoDT) processors ( Silverstone NT07-Pro) on a P4 3.0 cpu

it's for Intel mobile Intel MoDT Socket 478, 479 up to Core 2 Duo T7700 & above

I wouldnt recommend it. Most 'mobile' heatsinks (including ones for mobile processor on desktop motherboards) are not capable of handling the heat generated by standard desktop processors... P4's especially Very Happy

Thats even if it fits.

The heatsink itsself looks a bit slim for high-heat output... But if you insist, and have the tools/know-how to underclock and undervolt the processor... You might then be able to use it.
