In my world, after all those years and all those $, you should know what a Intel ES looks like. Strange. _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. Now over 6000 different chips in the database. |

| I think maybe he spent too much money on it and he is trying to recover his money by duping someone else. |

It seemed to good to be true but when it came time to do it I couldnt help myself I think I happen to catch it right after it was listed as it came up in one of my automated searches. After all this talk about fake ES I am a little worried though. What do you guys think? |

No details in the photo...
But to have all those ES:s in the same place at the same time, in the same auction at $100 buy-it-now... I believe it when i see it. _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. I will post photos right after I receive them. Have we seen fake ES in the speeds listed? |

Nope no faked ES:s has been spotted so far in those speeds.
(But when i looked at some other ES:s... i would like to see this http://www.chipdb.org/img-intel-a80486sx-33-q0575-es-3369.htm in a scanner with a hi-res output. From that photo that print does not look good.) _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. I think you bought a bunch of production chips with "ES" and "CS" letters on the back.

Looks like $10 worth of chips for $100 to me.
True 486 ES are nearly non-existant on the open market now. Still some pentium ES, but not out for sale very often. |
