I just got a MS-6712 VER 10A mother board and case for free and I need to know what is the best possessor for it as far as speed with out over clocking, and what type of ram to use. Thanks for your time.

Using the link listed right above your posting: CPU compatiblity list by Motherboard, the MSI website lists 3 different choices for motherboards that have the general description of 'MS-6712'. I didn't investigate any further because your posting didn't provide the information, and a little elbow grease on your part might do some good. Wink

The fastest CPU for all boards is the same: Athlon XP 3000+ with 333 MHz FSB (AXDA3000DKV4D):
