looks like a oxed processor that has had its fan removed, and been remarked

I would say its a fake. Very shallow laser etching, but most noticeable is the quality of the printed logo.

The top and bottom are two other Pentium 120.

Edit: Also is the difference in the letter "R".

Perhaps you can verify it by scratching the surface or using a chemical on the print?

I have no exact date but I compared most of my pentium, I guess it is between 9641~9645
