Hello,
I found an engineering sample listed on Ebay and was wondering if anyone can ID this chip and see if it correctly listed.
It says AMD Dual core Opteron 2.4GHz Socket F
Ebay Item number is 330201658758
It has these markings
AMD ENG SAMPLE

I have done alot of digging on these chips and have the info at home, ill post it in a few hours when i get there. They are socket f dual core opterons made about a year before the official release, they are 2216 models with the high efficiency power usage, I believe that they would be 2216he in the production lineup. thats correct on the datecode and the official release was august of 06.
Dual-Core Opteron High Efficiency (HE, 68 W TDP) family (Santa Rosa core), multi-processor variant on Socket F, voltage: 1.35 V, 2 Mbyte L2 cache. The week number places this chip one year before the introduction, |
