one suggestion is for this forum:
It's very inconvinient to read the text in thread when posting large picture. one has to scroll the screen left or right over and over.
one suggestion is for chipdb.org:
Don't support partly match searching.
It would be better is support this. _________________ My vintage CPU collection:www.cpumuseum.com

1) get a bigger monitor? 640x480 is a bit 1990.
2) chipdb has a partial search. ( and it works! )

yes, chipdb support wild partial search. but not enough.
for example, when searching BVAPR233, you get nothing. you have to input the keywords as *BAVPR233*.
Monitor is never big enough. In order to get fullly compatibility with 1080P HD Video, you have to buy a 24' inch screen. LOL _________________ My vintage CPU collection:www.cpumuseum.com

I use two cheap 17" LCD monitors side by side. My desk top area is 2560x1024. Very nice, easy to snap applications to each window and great for programming! ( and cheap! ). Why spend massive money on an expensive monitor? I'd rather watch 1080 HD Video in a comfortable living room with surround sound and the beer fridge within reach.
I still dont understand the problem with the searching. What is the problem to use wildcards? |

You really know how to enjoy you life LOL.
but I think home theater would probally cost very very much than a big monitor. _________________ My vintage CPU collection:www.cpumuseum.com

I don't think I can do much about it. I can't set maximum image size in pixels, and I don't want to spend much time looking for phpBB mod that can do that. I'm planning to upgrade phpBB to version 3 in two-three months, when a couple of phpBB 3.x patches are released, and I don't want to waste my time tweaking current phpBB board.

I'm not sure if phpBB 3.0 can do that, but it can display attachments as thumbnails. So, just wait until I install phpBB 3.0...
