I collect my strength for completion of works on "soviet CPUs info" website.
Soviet chips use Russian (Cyrillic) letters in their names.
Some letters have Latin same-looking analog, but they sounds differently...

e.g.
Russian letter "В" looks like Latin "B" and sounds like English "V"
Russian letter "Р" looks like Latin "P" and sounds like English "R"
K=ok M=ok

and the i8080 clone, Cyrillic - КР580ВМ80 can be named like:
KP580BM80 or KR580VM80 or KR580WM80. (I saw this names in diff web-sources )
It makes search too difficult.

The question is… Can I use Russian letters?
--- I liке СРUs----
Who can see it like --- I like CPUs---- without encoding change?
Or I have to use pictures or .pdf ?

I can see all international characters properly, but I agree with John. There are still people with older systems and hand-held devices that don't have all character sets installed...
