Hi. I'm looking to maximize a k7s5a pro v.5 board and currently have an Athlon XP 2200+. The board manufacturer lists AMD Athlon XP 2600+ (.13u) (256K,266,Socket 462) as the highest CPU it will take but how high a processor can it take and does it have to be Thoroughbred or Barton?

This and a geforce 7300gt agp are my last upgrades to this board. It currently runs XP fine but I need a more head room for video rendering.

SiS 735, FSB 200/266Mhz
Thoroughbred XP2600+ is it's max.

7300gt... 7600 will be much better.
