Hi, I’m more of a 2nd hand system builder than collector. So i know little about the rarity of the chip I’ve acquired here.
I came across this chip QFX6ES while disassembling for parts. It’s marked confidential so am assuming is a engineering sample. Would this be a "rare" chip or one of many that made it to mainstream? |

| this is a nice chip and, although quite new, its collectors value is higher than the value of an ordinary low-speed p4 northwood, but not really high because of its low age too. i wouldnt call it rare, because in case of still useful chips as this, we need time to see how many show up after its useless for the normal user, but its very unusaul to see one nowadays |

Thank you for the info, I figured at this point it would be worth more to an overclocker than a legitimate collector but would rather see it go to the latter.
Thanks again for the quick response. |
