This was uploaded to the chipdb.org database just now.
Any specific details except the bad print that point it being a fake? Where the i386 logo in use when the A80386-20 was around for example?

Got one without a logo with datecode 1988, week 45
On it's own this doesn't prove that the one you showed with the logo is fake, but alongside the look of the lettering (the font looks wrong and they look engraved as opposed to etched) I would say it supports the idea _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

hmpf. It has rounded edge because the original printing was removed and the following coating makes the edges less "sharp" _________________ Frank. |

Thanks!
Your image shows a A80386DX-20 the fake one above is a A80386-20. _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. Now over 6000 different chips in the database. |

I'd say Intel started using the DX shortly after week 12 in 1988. Does anyone have similar chips to confirm?
