why it support CPU Intel Pentium 4 socket 478 2.66 GHz FSB 133 MHZ and it cannot support Intel Pentium 4 socket 478 2.66 GHz FSB100MHZ means when I check My CPU 2.66 GHz FSB100MHZ by CPU-Z or Everest programs ,I get wrong core speed ... 2000 MHZ not 2600 MHz http://hdishna.googlepages.com/7f83da8785.jpg Notice I get last Bios update MV43V007 and donnot fix this problem and I cannot know why my mother board cannot support this CPU 2.66 GHz FSB100MHZ in CPU Support List here

http://eu.shuttle.com/archive/en/mv43_faq.htm#infofaq
or here

Hi,
I think that that motherboard doesn't support the P4 2,6Ghz 100Mhz due to a limited cpu multiplier, in this case the cpu need a 26x multiplier while P4 2,66GHz 133Mhz needs only 20X

Your motherboard should support 133 MHz FSB. Try to change FSB from 100 MHz to 133 MHz in BIOS.

I cannot change any value in setup screen (bios screen) it's locked means no change I can do .

if ypu come back to CPU support list you will notice :

1- It's support cpu 2.44 bus 100 and 2.44 bus 133 but it cannot do this with cpu 2.66???????
2- It can support 2.66 bus 100 only if my CPU is celeron ,cach 128 k

I ask only why it cannot support my cpu Pentium 2.66 bus 100 cach 512 k and what about a wrong core speed in cpu-z or Everest programs ¿

All 2.66GHz P4 in a 478-pin package have a FSB of 133 (533) MHz. You can set JP1A1 on the motherboard to pins 2-3 and JP1B1 to pins 1-2 to use a 133 FSB.. Page 27 of the PDF file contained in ftp://ftp.shuttle.com/Manuals/en/mv43v_n/mv43ven.zip shows where the jumpers are and how to set them.
