I know part numbers for these processors, but they do not make much sense to me. According to part numbers they are Merom-based 0 MHz CPUs with 0 MB L2 cache from Celeron M 5xx series. Maybe they are thermal or mechanical samples... Do you know if they work?

I do not know if they work or not. They very well could be mechanical samples. I have gotten several desktop and server processors from work that were being thrown out because they were finished testing them and had extras, or whatnot...those all said "Intel Confidential" on them, and had the S-Spec's and part numbers printed on them where I could fairly easily get the specs on them.

I guess I could try a couple of the Socket M ones in my laptop and see what happens...worst case, they don't work and I waste an hour or so tearing my laptop apart and putting it back together. Laughing

If they have more than you can use for yourself, just bring them here to sell. I'm sure between us all we would take all you can get Smile
