Hi, don't know if anyone can help, but I guess someone out there will know. I have an Intel Desktop Board D925XCV with a P4 530 1MB S775 800FSB chip. I want to upgrade to a faster chip, the Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 S775 2.2GHz 2mb Cache 800FSB would be nicem but the Intel website says it is not supported. Does this mean it will not work or that it just not a supported combination?

Most likely, you need at least 945 chipset for Core 2 Duo support, including all Exxxx processors with 800MHz FSB.

Thanks for taking the time. Guess I'll have to splash out a bit more if I want to go faster...
