Could the -E also stand for engineering sample?

Wow, what a nice chip! I have not yet added any Pentium 66 ES in the cpu photo database so this would be a first. Can you supply photo with higher resolution? (and if possible, less dark)
Post it here or email photos@cpuphotolibrary.com _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. Now over 6000 different chips in the database. |

| Nice, date code indicates it is probably associated with the switch from fdiv to non-fdiv. I am jealous, excellent find. How did you come across it? |

It could be. I don't remember seeing "-E" suffix on any production Intel processors.

I couldn't help myself I know how Hugo feels. Everytime Lither posts about a IBM sample I die a bit inside. |
