i got two MII ES today
a mobile MII 266 85C ES
and
a MII ES 266 85C case rev 2.8

Very nice chips lither, i wonder why the top ones marking of ES is so much more blurry than the second ones marking.

I think that the ES on first chip is laser engraved

MII ES with such print is not rare
i think it is laser engraved too (as andamus said)
attached are 3 cyrix MII-333 ES with different print
