hi
recently i've stumbled upon a site that mentioned a Pentium II Overdrive processor. I must say I've never seen one, even on pictures. Guess they weren't much popular; and here the question arises - previous overdrives proved to be quite successful, but why not the Pentium II Overdrive? _________________ Power without the price. |

hmm, was it possible to upgrade more than 2-processor systems using the PIIOver? I mean, could systems with more than 2 PPro processors be upgraded?
thanks for the photo i'm googling this up right now.
I found it was possible to upgrade a 2 processor system, but what about 4-, 8-, or more processors? _________________ Power without the price. |

I have a dual P2OD motherboard with two of them on.
Fun to play with that stuff... |

| It's more like a Xeon on a chip than a P2. It has a 250nm P2/Xeon core and 512k full-speed L2 cache. It's the only way for a Socket 8 to have MMX, too, which is quite useful in some games and a few apps. |
