I worked in a plant that made circuit assemblies using this (reflow soldering) method. I can actually identify the machine in picture #10 as an Orbotech VT-8000 series automated inspection machine. Programming and maintaining these was my job. This picture is not related to the text below it at all! The article actually makes no mention of automated optical inspection (AOI)
