Apple buys PA Semi

Yah its an interesting move.
It's results are already being made known.

Dept of Defense has made a motion to halt the sale already.

PA Semi makes PPC based chips used in MANY defense platforms.

Apple terminated those contracts and is end of lifing the prducts because it has a strict policy against selling to anything military.

That's interesting. Does it mean that Apple won't sell ipods or macs to the military?

Yup, currently DoD has not approved the sale of PA Semi, so we shall see
