Hi, Everyone. Need help. Have an ECS N2U400-A(V1.0) mainboard currently w/ an Athlon XP 2000+ proc. May I upgrade to an Athlon XP 2600+ AXDA2600DKV4D (Barton)? Would there be any compatibility issues? Based on the data sheets, these should be compatible. However, what worries me is that ECS or cpu-upgrade.com (see http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-ECS/N2U400-A(V1.0).html) doesn't list this proc to be compatible with my mainboard. Please enlighten. I'm about to buy the 2600+ already from a surplus shop.
Thanks in advance for any help! |

The board supports 333 and 400 MHz FSB, as well as Barton core, so it should support AXDA2600DKV4D.
