I posted this in the latest finds but thought I would create a separate thread to see if anyone had any ideas on cleaning the stains off the Pentium MMX. The Mech Sample stamping is interesting, looks like they went a little crazy with the stamper:)
Taking time off of work has allowed me to contact some people and acquire some interesting stuff. I cannot for the life of me remove those marks at the top. If you run your finger over it it you cannot feel anything so it seems like stain.
This is is just like the chip JAC got that I lusted over. This one cost me though.

maybe try the stuff people use for cleaning car engines? these aren't solvents so they shouldn't destroy such a nice mech sample and they're made exactly for cleaning aluminium _________________ Power without the price. |

Good idea, I'll try a small spot to see if it work. It will make this chip look so much better |
