I´ve got an Acer 370 PC notebook with an intell pentium a80502150 sy058 mobile prozessor. Is there a chance to upgrade it with a faster prozessor?

Thank You for Your hints

It all depends on the motherboard you have in your laptop. If you have a manual for your motherboard then see what processors it supports, or, alternatively, see if the board has any jumpers or DIP switches for bus speed and clock multiplier. If you don't have the manual, but can open the notebook, again, see if there are jumpers or DIP switches on the motherboard, and if there is a description of these jumpers/switches somewhere on the motherboard.

Update: I downloaded Acer 370/370P manual, and it says it supports Pentium 120, Pentium 133 (MMX and non-MMX) and Pentium 150 (MMX and non-MMX). So, 150 MHz is the max, although if you have separate jumpers for bus speed and clock multiplier on the motherboard you may be able to put Pentium 166 in there (leave clock multiplier as it is and change bus speed to 66 MHz).
