Hey guys. I'm new here.
I am looking at upgrading my 845pe based system and found some rather strange prescott based P4s out there.
Using intels spec finder a few oddities showed up. The first is the 2.26Ghz with only 512k cashe, SL7D7. Its the only desktop prescott (possibly any prescott) with only 512k, and I can't seem to find one for sale anywhere.
Another one I have a question about is the 2.8GHZ 533mhz FSB chip. It is the SL8JX which according to intel's web site is a socket 478 processor, and the database here at cpu world claims it is 775. Since I can't seem to find one of these for sale, I don't know which it correct. The reason this CPU caught my attention in the first place is the G1 stepping, which would make this CPU the slowest G1 for socket 478 and would make a great overclocker for my 845pe system.
Any info about either of these and any people collecting Pentium 4s would be of interest to me. _________________ Striving to make the fastest 845pe based system. Taking last generations hardware to the max! |

Thank you very much!
And now for one more I dug up. How about the 2.4ghz 533mhz fsb HT prescott SL7FY. If intel is right about the fsb speed, this would be a strange cpu. CPU World says it is an 800mhz fsb which is not so odd, but still not common. _________________ Striving to make the fastest 845pe based system. Taking last generations hardware to the max! |

You can also check out the mobile P4 with FSB-533 and HT with 1MB L2 |

Try to search for part number - RK80546PE051512

This is wrong - it should be socket 478. It will be fixed next time I rebuild the S-Spec database.

It's a 533 MHz FSB CPU. 800 MHz FSB was mentioned in an Intel specification update, and I didn't notice that it contradicts the part number. Again, it will be fixed in the next S-Spec database update.
