Here are two chips off of a SGI Reality 2 engine board. I know these arent CPU's but I think they are some of the most beautiful chips I have ever seen.
I may have to start collecting variations of these chips due to there looks alone.
Can these LSI chips be bought for cheap since they arent cpus?

Nice chips!
I like nice designs as a collecting factor, also, even if it's not a CPU. |

They were sold many times in Poland for gold scrap value because of what you said : not CPUs. They are nice looking but I don't keep them in collection. There are many beautifull (similar looking) CPUs like MIPS. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

Hi,
very nice, I keep many LSI chips in my collection even if they aren't CPUs: personally I love the design/appearance of these beasts.
