These have a TI 9900 CPU in them.

How rare are the computers? in original box?
I ended up with one.

Is it a TI 99/4A or a TI 99/4? If it's a TI 99/4 I'm very interested in buying it Smile I can also trade a TI99/4A (plus some $, if you want) for it, it has the same CPU.

Common as dirt. I have around a dozen of them in their original boxes in my attic... Some are 99/4, some 99/4A, some silver, some white.

For how much? It would be somewhat expensive to ship overseas.

Hey All! Smile

Some of the 4's were easily distinguishable by their "chicklet" - style keys of their keyboards. They are rarer, from what I know, and, sold on Ebay for 5 to 7 times the price of an average TI99/4a.

I collect TI99's too...but, am very interested in finding a TI990 "mini-mainframe". These, from what I've read , were used to do some of the "firmware" programming for the Original TI99/4's and TI99/4a's , that came off "the line" , when Texas Instruments were still producing them.

Have a Good Day, and, Hey there to all in Oregon Country , USA.

P.S. I was noticing that this system allows for PICTURES attached to posts, but, all the Posts I 've seen , with them in are "greyed out" and not d/l 'able.
Is there something I am missing to "view" or even, "d/l" these pics?

Bye for now...

Pics can be saved to your PC the same way as anywhere else. Right click on them and you get whatever options your browser supports.

In every thread, posts alternate between a white or grey background.

Hmmm...just cracked a Ti99 yesterday... RE-wire work looks deceptively easy, with one FATAL flaw...my "5", "H" , and, "SPACEBAR" keys are dead :~-( I hate the silly matrix-crisscross wiring that is SOOO easy to BUILD ... so CRAPPY to repair.
Well...time for a new "keyboard-module-unit" <gaaagggging with a spoon Emoticon here> ... anybody got a "chicklet" ?
