DHL is fast and secure, but for up to 5 kg they want 40€ (up to 10kg 55€).
Any recommendations?

Is that for airmail? Seamail is usually much cheaper (at least for sending stuff out from Australia, its about half price) but it can take up to three months.

Checked my rates. Whatis the actual weight of what you want to send?

For example I can get 2kg for about Euro28 - this is express 2-3 days

Do the rates depend on how much you ship with TNT?

There is a base charge + a charge per 500g, so is weight dependent.
I checked my Fedex rates are they are in line with TNT. Seems they are all around the same.
