I understand it right - you have always completely black screen when PC is turned on (no bootblock information) ? Floppy is reading at boot ? At first try resetting CMOS by battery or jumpers. If still black screen and floppy is not reading then you must programm bios eeprom chip on flash programmer or change whole motherboard. BTW. Technical support sucks in most cases so uncle google is your best friend in finding solution. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

Packard Hell. They suck ASS. Cheap useless crap.
Anyway, sorry you have a problem. A couple questions..
How do you know the new cpu chip you purchased is working?
So putting the old chip back in an it doesnt work at all? Have you shagged the old chip with poor handling?
Is it possible you flashed the wrong bios?
...
So you see.. so many avenues to proceed. Good luck. The only thing they are good for is wedging under your fat chics ass on the bed so you can get a better angle.
