Description: 6 circuit AM (SW1, SW2, MW, LW) superheterodyne powered from AC/DC net 120, 150, 220, 240V/30-100Hz. Round speaker 170 mm, glass scale, bakelite cabinet. Isolated connectors for pick-up and external speaker. Many export versions with different wavebands, scales, tube tuning indicator, power rectifier.

| I love this stuff. I need to get back into my tubage. I am thinking about making a tube amp for my iphone. Should be easy.. lots of designs on the net and tubes are cheaply available. |

I must say I like the steampunk (or should that be vacuumpunk) style of things like this.
When I was young I trashed a fully valve-powered TV with built-in radio and gramophone. I think it was a Pye
At the moment I have an all-valve Ferrograph reel-to-reel recorder and and Heathkit oscilloscope. |
