How will I know if my 1Gb PC3200 SDRAM module has a Low-Density configuration & uses 64Mx8 device by simply looking at its appearance? There are several cheap brands out there ( usually in high density) but I find it hard to compare them by just simply looking at their appearance coz there are no spec sheets accompanying the product and sometimes product labels are also misleading. Please help..Thanks!

You can look at the numbers on the chips, and find the datasheets by web search. That should give you a good indication as to what you are looking at.

Most 1GB DDR DIMMs are 'standard density', there is no real difference between 'low' and 'high' in 1GB DIMMs.

If it were PC133 or DDRII, you might have to be concerned, but with DDR I think it's all the same at that capacity.
