|
|
It has been 20 days and I need some help deciding who has the best display. Here is the link to the thread containing the people that want to win a free chip: http://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1457
I will let this thread run for about 5 days and then make a decision off of what you guys think.
Thanks!
Lee

Clearly,
http://img237.exs.cx/img237/4111/newshit0228it.jpg - First Drawer with mech sample, mil-specs, Engineering Samples, Qualification Samples.
http://img237.exs.cx/img237/205/newshit0231eg.jpg - Second Drawer with high grade gold scrap pentium's, ibm's, cyrix, amd + others and mildly rare gold chips.
http://img237.exs.cx/img237/3262/newshit0249eo.jpg - Third Drawer with Low/Medium-high Gold scrap including 486's, 386's, Pentium's, Pentium celerons, and other ceramic chips.
http://img237.exs.cx/img237/5644/newshit0254wm.jpg Fourth Drawer with somewhat uncommon chips ( felt they didn't belong in the other food groups, provided a little bit more in terms of nutritional value )
http://img219.exs.cx/img219/6257/newshit0263zo.jpg Fifth Drawer with Military boards, one made by Ford, and other old pieces
Sixth Drawer with EMPTY

Got a lot of new chips and sold a bunch from that last picture but it's still the basic idea |

chipcollector, you have a lot of nice chips, and the drawers are neat, but i dont think you could get 'best display' since they seem to be just tossed in there.. if they were all lined up and straight, like mvortikars:
http://www.asmodius.com/contest/contest1.jpg
then youd have my vote.
gman, imo its a tie between cpuswe and mvortikar..
cpuswe's velvet coin box looks very nice, but, mvortikar's display case looks equally as nice, is laid out excellently, has a nice lighting setup, everything is visible (where cpuswe's are hidden away) .. and to top it all off, its hand made..
so my vote goes for mvortikar |

The problem with that is Ebay tracks your bid withdrawls and I already have three in my user profile. I will just wait and bid at the last moment

Sorry about the delay and the extra couple of days but I was in the field. Mvortikar is the winner
I still have a PPRO 133, C4001 and C4002-1. Let me know which chip you prefer. |

Cool! Thanks Lee!
I'll take the PPRO 133 ES.
