its possible, but its more difficult for paypal to go into a new country than ebay.
ebay is just a listing service for items, and since they only let people list items and bid on them, they dont really have to many laws to abide by (and most of the ones they do, theyre already abiding by)
paypal on the other hand has to be set up for all the local banking, credit card, etc processing. for example, paypal in poland wont do you any good if your bank account and credit cards wont work on it.
some countries (like australia) can't have their bank accounts confirmed with paypal because of the way they work, so you can't use your bank to fund payments. so if you dont have a credit card in those countries, you cant send any payments...
but i digress |

I think Polish banks will cooperate with PayPal. I don't see other program like PayPal so it is exceptional. Paypal is in Costa Rica and Venezuela so I think not for a long time polish law will accept this great idea 40 mln Pole waiting .... _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

paypal WANTS to be in as many countries as possible.
more countries = more customers = more money
its all the legal red tape that keeps them out of those countries. |

Yes it is true what you say in Polish language. Ebay in Poland is currently awful. A lot of problems. I registered in Germany and in Poland I have problems. Categories are updated one time in a month so it is sad .
I hope will be better soon.

yea, i forgot to mention this
paypal added a bunch of new countries on friday, poland among them (also czech republic, and a few others i cant remember)
it was funny, they read off the entire list, poland was the last one.. no one really cared but when they said poland everyone cheered
we constantly get emails from people in poland asking why we dont support them etc.
