Me, my GF's brother and his dad are going.. are any of you?
It would be good to meet up with some of you from the UK, Europe and further afield if you are interested in going. Not only can you visit the excellent and historic Bletchley park (which you all know played a very important role in WW2), there is the computer museum there as well as presentations, exhibitions, flea market and entertainment.
Hope it can be an ongoing thing like over in the US. |

First I heard of it until you posted.
I'll probably go if I dont have to be somewhere else, or forget. |

Anyone thought of having a display there? Promote our hobby so to say.
Perhaps we are considered as "computer murderers" that rip out the heart of a good functioning system and are banned from the premises. _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. Heh... some of us maybe!
I'll see what this year has to offer, and maybe next year I will consider a small stand. |

I guess that a cool blonde girl would boost the number of contacts dramatically
Just call it "bond girl" to organizers...
(I went to an event last week and many stands had receptionists that were no fit for their tailleurs...) |

Called rent-a-tits
All exhibitions have them. There are even companies that specialize in supplying them. They have only one requirement:
a) They must be hot looking.
They have two functions..
1) get people onto your booth/stand, using (a) above.
2) get the contact details by swiping your visitor card or get your details. |

| If anybody`s going to UK VCF, or UK, or maybe just Europe or West Asia in general, please contact my e- mail through the personal messages (PM) first. I need some television broadcast parts that have been banned in my country from being sold here as new parts. |
