How do you know it's fake? I'm not too savvy with this matter but I reckon this package doesn't exist at this speed rating/sspec number?
Edit:The black printed 5x86 I showed you earlier on the VCF was from this seller aswell btw. (btw, referring to the P-90, not the other 5 fakes)
Too bad I already bought 2 other chips from him. I'd better test them first before giving feedback. Fortunately all I want is 133Mhz in socket 3 |

Thanks
I was kinda expecting that. He does have good feedback and he sells a lot of items simultaneously. He might not be aware it's a fake/remark.
Still I'm going to test them first. One of the items I bought is a Kingston Turbochip and I don't realy know how to tell real ones from fakes apart. Anyhow, both were relatively cheap. |

| He bought a lot of CPUs in the past from the early China sellers (someone remember CPUFAN ?) if you aren't a very expert (I'm not) you don't see the differences from the genuine and the fakes |

here is a example, but the seller has 5 other fake processors up for auction with the sSpecs SL28J & SL25J
|
they ended up selling from $16 - 30 each
it is a pity some collectors don't become members here and educate themselves about what they are collecting.
The problem i see now, is they will get added to collection & if online will become a 'Real' chip to new collectors surfing the web
as for the fake gold top P90 in the first post, I emailed the seller while it was being listed & I got no response from him _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

That gold top Tillamook wouldn't even fool me. Anyone doing a tiny bit of research would know about those CPU's by now.
Seeing how he responded to NEON_WA I'd guess the seller knows they are fake but simply doesn't care.
Trying to sell those CPU's and cashing in before the people find out |

I have known this guy for years as we both use to go to a computer surplus
store here. I don`t think he would even know it was a fake. He actually bought most of the stock when the store closed down 10 years ago. He use to sell a lot at a local computer swap meet. |

I have chatted to him since.. and unlike most sellers he is willing to listen.
He asked how i could tell, if he could test & if there was market for remarked chips.. so least he willing to learn _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:
