Welcome Tetrium
And congrats to CPUWorld and the members for making it interesting enough for 2000 people to want to register. _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." A.E. |

Thanks everyone
before I strated registering on a couple vintage hardware forums I thought I was the only nut wanting old and 'useless' hardware.
The dedication to old hardware and particularly old cpu's here is just mindblowing!
Kudo's to the people here, and thank you for sharing all your knowledge (and ur chips ) with me

Congrats to CPU-World!
I know some real collectors here in ex-ussr by local forums.
And they do read CPU-World but never wrote/registred there. Why? Because of bad English.
I believe a bunch of spamers is compensated by a lot of these non-native English speaking collectors around the World. _________________ My Want List: http://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22729

Also a toast to Genna and all the Mods for their good work!
....and a toast to all our fellow sellers and buyers that keep us from drowning in our spare chips and that help us enlarge our collections.
Too bad the rest of our world doesn't always operate as efficiently. _________________ My collection list (growing) http://johnorun.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html |

Thanks guys! Next stop is 3000 registered users
As for the spammer accounts - we don't have many of them. The forum automatically rejects automated registrations. For example, today we blocked 34 registrations, and the day is not over yet. I usually remove spammer accounts, and I also removed all year-old or older accounts that haven't been confirmed. So, in my opinion, more than 50% of accounts belongs to people who really wanted to join the forum.
