I have a Fisher 701, this was an early Quadrophonic (4channel) receiver unit.

I opened it up to have a look, and saw the following tiny Motorola chips on it:

a) SC5182P also marked 7021

b) 7021

c) 7036

d) MFC 6010

I figure these are some sort of simple sound chips, or maybe used for transistorized radio reception ... but can find ZERO about them in the search engines I have tried.

Era is early 70s (RCA introduced quad sound in April 1970).

b) and c) look like date codes, as does the second part of a). Any other markings on b and c?

And wht package/how many pins do they have?

d looks to be and RF/IF amplifier: http://www.datasheetarchive.com/MFC6010-datasheet.html
