my motherboard socket is AM2+..so, i wish to replace my AMD Athlon 64 with AMD phenom or phenom II...is it possible??
and if yes..will i face any trouble soon?? |

You need to specify the motherboard model, and revision.
The only limits I can see are bios, as the cpu has to be supported in all his features, and wattage your motherboard can supply to the cpu, as not all motherbaords can give up to 125W to the cpu.

Pretty much full of options for an upgrade.
As I said, be sure to buy a version that isn't 125W, or it won't work.
Ask the seller or check the cpu code in cpu-world's database, or at amd's site.

You should google to find if anyone has tried anything better than that, trying the name of the motherboard + the cpu in the phenom II range you might like to have.

There are details written on the side of the psu, please report them.
Like 12V 5V and the corresponding Amperes and wattage. |

Sounds like an El Cheapo brand...
Personally I wouldn't even want to put a 500w El Cheapo PSU in a pentium 1 machine...those tend to die, taking your precious little machine down to hell with it  |
