Hello cpu forum guys,
I have bought a new custom computer with a dual core Pentium D 805, I don't know much about this but I take it is newish.
I am a little worried about the temperature its running at.
I am getting 63-65 Degrees from EVEREST.
This seems a little on the hot side to me.
What do you guys think? |

It ranges from around 50-60 idle then 60-65 full load.
I don't know if this helps but heres some more information.
Motherboard: ASRock 4CoreDual-VSTA
Video Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT (1024 MB)
Cheers,

looks ok to me
those little bastards tended to get hot
also depends on the heatsink you have, how long, thermal paste is years old or recently applied... etc... |

This is a bit off topic, but your CPU is nowhere near newish. It was released for retail sale during the first quarter of 2005. Intel lists it's status as "end of life". I hope you didn't pay a premium price for the system. See here:

And on ebay you also get ripped off.
I hope it was really a "lo-lo" bargain. |

With stuff like that 80 would have been enough.
132 it's "sellability" value.
Overall it's fair. Next time invest 100 pounds more, you can get really better specs (I mean current hardware, not yrs old). If you want further reading try tom's hardware guide, they give 250$ biulds and up.
Bottom line: not ripped. |
