My eldest kid is going to study in Fort Collics, CO for one year.
I'll wonder if somebody from active members lives there Smile

When you say study, do you mean lots of sex, alcohol and big plates of american food?

...all this plus Skiing on weekends,,,(or when supposed to be in classes) Very Happy Rolling Eyes

Denver is the airport serving the area. Maybe an silent member there?

BTW, I visited this campus for our oldest daughter and Colorado State is a great school about an hour north of Boulder (Univ. of Colorado) w. beautiful campus and is less expensive than many big public schools.
You must visit, Dad! Wink

Oh, please. She is 16 only.
I hope not "lots of..." but "a little bit of" Smile

I believe she is really good girl. Here in Kiev only five were selected by FLEX from about 300

Ok peepz. My turn.
DENVER, COLORADO. 80231

Fluent Russian, if that helps.

p.s. not that i dont like fort collins, but i am trying to be cautious. There is over 20 (!) ICBM MISSILE SITES in that area... with what ever comes with it... not just radiation pollution, there is bunch of other toxins like TCE (trichloroethylene), Hydrosinesome and variations of rocket fuels.
Some of them are "sealed" and "cleaned" due to outdate, but some of them are "active"
take a look at this map all those yellow round points are pretty much missile sites. A bit north-east from fort collins.
Government says its safe...no pollution etc.

Other than that, its good place to study Cool but i would choose boulder if i could, certainly more expensive, but jeez, they call it BOULDER REPUBLIC...
