OK I am going to be ordering a couple dozen square feet of this
for mounting my collection.
What is the best type?
I assume high density but polyethylene or urethene? _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

Just a bit off topic, but still on the subject of anti-static materials.
I have heard that anti-static bags are only anti-static on the inside. Placing a board or chip on the outside of a bag affords no protection as the anti-static material is only placed on the inside.
Anyone know of this?
Back to materials for displaying chips, there is probably some commercial product to display chips. Certainly there would be a minor demand for methods to display and store chips.
For collectors, there will be a demand for storage containers.
Any anti-static foams will be suitable, they are all black. I believe they are impregnated with carbon to allow an even distribution of static charge. |

I have also been looking for some kind of display for single chips, kind of like those plastic PVC holders for rare baseballcards, but i have not found anything suitable. I was thinking around how tho make something yourself, but when talking to those who refine plexiglass it would be very expensive, around $15-20 per single holder for the most simple construction if i order at least 30-40.

John, you mentioned in another thread that you bought the foam. Which one one did you end up buying?
