ha ha ha ha yea I have seen all of those before, its just silly what people put up on there some times. Its like they are looking to retire on the sale of one chip. 
I pmed the guy with the C3002 and told him straight up that I would give him a nice price for one of those and that the price he has it as is just insane and he will NEVER get that much for one. Needless to say I never heard anything back from him at all, not even a piss off message or anything. 
We should have this thread added to as we find them and let it grow with stupidity found on Ebay.

yes, they are overpriced, but some are really nice chips and not that much overpriced as others.
the c3101 seller is a forum member here which is from china and I know him. I ever talked to him with his price. he told me it might worth only a few bucks for a CPU collector but may worth a million for intel fans.

Here is how I judge worth of somthing, If theres a price set and after two or three months no one buys it , its not worth that much. Pretty simple really somthings worth is only limited by how much some one will pay for it and since I have seen those chips for sale a long time they must not be worth what people are asking no matter what you collect.

eBay makes it easy now to list items with high prices, so I am not surprised to see that going on.
Had those links been to completed sale transactions on eBay then I would have been stunned. |
