Whats cool is those are 2002 production, when Fairchild was once again their own company.
From 1987-1997 they were owned by National Semiconductor, and thus used National part numbers
Here is one from 2000 but it retains a National Part number, with a Fairchild logo _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

| Yeah cool, and Fairchild has such a long history - they invented the planar process. So while TI had the first IC, Fairchild had the first practical ones (RTL back then). They totally dominated early (non-mil) IC production. |

Fairchild was king of the road thru the 60s, but then the brain drain killed them All their good people left to start companies like Intel, and Fairchild could not keep up.
Their DTL and RTL was not near as fast as TIs competing TTL, and by the 1970s Fairchild was actually losing money _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!
