I was thinking about possibility of having some sort of database/album for my collection, various options exist, but i am seriously considering getting
xxx.collectionstudio.com
(this is not porn and/or advertisement-change xxx->www) it seems that soft is pretty flexible. Just wanted to share idea.

I'm also looking for a proper way to keep track of my (still tiny) collection. I'm currently considering making a homebrew app and store it into a SQLite database which can be exported to MySQL for online usage (with PHP). I think it is a bit more flexible (and cheaper =).
The ultimate way would be to have a collectors driven website where you can simply look up a cpu, and click a "I have this CPU" link or something. Compare with other users, "I want this CPU", "I have this CPU for sale" etc..

Your idea is great, but will take time and efforts from peepz who is good at programming. Meanwhile i think i will try this one.

no photos but i know what i have and not...
(over 900 cpu's and 800 peripheral chips) |

I also use Excel and its easy and lets you sort by any categories that you use as titles.
(I believe you can add photos, but I haven't tried it.)
