I was thinking about possibility of having some sort of database/album for my collection, various options exist, but i am seriously considering getting
xxx.collectionstudio.com
(this is not porn and/or advertisement-change xxx->www) it seems that soft is pretty flexible. Just wanted to share idea. _________________ its here.

I'm also looking for a proper way to keep track of my (still tiny) collection. I'm currently considering making a homebrew app and store it into a SQLite database which can be exported to MySQL for online usage (with PHP). I think it is a bit more flexible (and cheaper =).
The ultimate way would be to have a collectors driven website where you can simply look up a cpu, and click a "I have this CPU" link or something. Compare with other users, "I want this CPU", "I have this CPU for sale" etc.. _________________ I like the place to go *BOOM* |

Your idea is great, but will take time and efforts from peepz who is good at programming. Meanwhile i think i will try this one. _________________ its here. |

Hi guys,
There's a lot of CMS's and scripts that can be used for that purpose... try, for example, here; http://www.hotscripts.com/category/php/scripts-programs/
If you can't find exactly what you want and if you looking for custom designed database driven website (PHP/MySQL) please let me know. I am sure I can help. |

I also use Excel and its easy and lets you sort by any categories that you use as titles.
(I believe you can add photos, but I haven't tried it.) _________________ My collection list (growing) http://johnorun.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html |
