| Nice range there. Years ago ( back around 2000 ), you could buy 286, 386 & 486 and early pentium like this. Now it is very rare to see them. |

Too bad I missed the previous era, now it will take much more effort (and money) to get them added to the collection.
A little update, just got my domainname up and running:
http://www.cpu-addict.com (and cpuaddict.com)
Will create a site in the next few weeks so stay tuned!
(it's possible your DNS did not update it's records yet, so if it doesn't work it should in a few hours) _________________ I like the place to go *BOOM* |

Am I right to assume these 2 pentium's are produced week 6 of 1998 ? and they have incremental serial numbers ? _________________ I like the place to go *BOOM* |

That explains it...
I found an eBay auction with lot's of CPU's .. in the description it already said that most CPU's had bend pins but I took the risk and bid on it and won. Package just arrived and found that most cpu's have only 1 or 2 slightly bend pins and can be brought back to working order. However some are too far gone and will get a free trip to the garbage can.
Most are S478 Pentium 4's and AMD athlon/duron but also a pretty decent looking Sun Spark III, a pentium 1, AMD k6, AMD k6-2 and a UMC U5S-Super33 _________________ I like the place to go *BOOM* |

So, I ended up with 30 working AMD's, 1 obviously broken and 1 that didn't boot. I still have about 40 P4's to straighten , but these pins are so close together I'll probably only do the ones worth it.
Also just spend some time in the garage with some old mobo's and a heatgun. You can see the result in the pics below.
Question for Gennadiy: The north and south bridges sSpec numbers are not on the site yet. Are you interested in these too? or only the sSpec's from CPU's ? _________________ I like the place to go *BOOM* |
