|
|
As you may be aware, I started posting news related to modern and vintage microprocessors - new processor releases, fun things about chips, interesting projects, vintage computer systems, eBay auctions for rare chips, and so on. If anybody wants to write or share news about new cool article or feature on his website, or his project, or other news related to microprocessors, drop me an e-mail or PM me.
What's in it to you? - This will help you promote your article, website or project, get a permanent link from the news page (and the news page will be linked for 1 month from CPU-World home page), and get a few visitors along the way.
What's in it to me? - I like to try new things, and right now I'm into writing news articles. By writing our own news we'll be able to promote chip and vintage system collecting, and electronics hobby. If we succeed in this then maybe in the future we'll get into Google News as a news source, which will help to promote our hobby even further.
What can be submitted? - You can submit short news article about new or vintage chips/transistors/tubes, vintage systems, hobby projects that use vintage chips/transistors/tubes, cpu-related articles, new collector's website announcement, new cool feature on collector's website (should be related to microprocessors, or chip or system collecting). For example, two recent forum threads will qualify for the news - Apple 1 replica thread, and g0b's huge die picture. Article length should be 150 words or more. You can submit an idea about such article (without writing the article) too, although don't expect it to be written soon. I'm between an almost full-time job, websites, and a small child, so I don't have much spare time.
Is it free? - yes, it's free.

Thanks John, I will post it tomorrow. I will write one or two paragraphs for CPU-World homepage, and link to your article.
