I got me 2 XEON SL7PE chips with nocona core to upgrade my server for 64bit support, but I'm a bit confused. According to Intel this chip does not have hyperthreading:

Quote:
# of Cores 1
# of Threads 1

But according to cpu-world it does have hyperthreading:

Quote:
Features

* MMX instruction set
* SSE
* SSE2
* SSE3
* Hyper-Threading technology
* Extended Memory 64 technology (EM64T)

So do they, or don't they support hyperthreading? Because it would save me a trip to Amsterdam if they don't and I need to find other chips ...

It should have HT. This information came from Nocona datasheet, it was also mentioned in press release:

http://www.intel.com/pressroom/archive/releases/2004/20040628comp.htm

and, finally, somebody asked about HT for this processor in Intel forums:
