What is it? Memory, CPU, MCU? Any ideas or links?
Thanks.

I've no idea what it is.
Anyway rather early Bulgarian chip.
Elar adduced an info on Pravetz and IME chips here but no 8002 in the list.

Generally Pravetz seems to be mystery Smile manufacturer. Very little information on the Internet (or I can not google them). The list from Elar does not contain memory CM8001 also.

Hmm, the chips 1 and 4 in the calculator seem to have 12 or 14 legs while the one on my picture is in DIL24 package.

They do have 12 legs on each side. They look the same as the CM7301. If there was a closer pic you would see the other legs.

Thank you for the information. Can you also post a scan of pages about CM8001 if it is described in this book?

Yes, I know, but I was wondering if there are any differences in specification (timing, voltages, etc.)
