upgrading a AMD Turion X2 ultra to a Turion II ultra

I have a quick question, Question is it possible to upgrade from a TurionX2 ultra to a Turion II ultra? I have seen some things that say the newer CPU is reverse compatable but I wanted to ask and find out. Any help on this would be great. Very Happy

It depends which Turion X2 processor you have. TL-XX cannot be upgrade to Ultra due to changes in socket specifications. RM-XX may be upgraded if your motherboard and BIOS support Ultra processors.
