Well my freind gave me his dell today and the only thing that works is the cpu it is a P4 2.80Ghz I wanted to know if i chould buy a motherboard and drop it in there ?whould it work or does intel do some thing to the chips so they only work with dells
?

Will work on any mobos (not only Dell's)
