Just noticed this yesterday on eBay. If you ask a seller a question about a active listing and they reply, by default your message will be posted at the bottom of that listing. In the past it was an option to post the question / answer. You had to check the box "Post this question and answer on my listings so all buyers can see it." The box is now checked by default. You now have to uncheck the box to keep the message "private". Another eBay improvement? Anyone else notice this?

I did notice on my last buy that the question I asked the seller was automatically posted on the bottom of the sale page Sad
Because my question was about what i suspected to be nice chips and the numbers on them. All of which were shown at the bottom of the sale page.

Really looks bad if you're trying to put together a side deal. Sad
A lot of the time on a Buy it Now or Best Offer I'll inquire to what the seller would be willing to accept. Now everyone will know Laughing

I just noticed the ask a question link has moved from the seller information box (top right), down to the bottom of the page to a box called "Questions and Answers about this item."

Remember with eBay, their moto is - If it ain't broke, then fix it.

Yes, I also met the same problem, and just notice the changes of ebay.
I think it should be also an option from the buyer side to choose whether want to post the question/answer or not.

iT appears that GOOD TILL CANCELLED items are actually ending on 30th day are being automatically relisted... and of course with additional charges.
Just noticed it.
all my other good till cancelled items were just ending on 30 th day, i had to manually relist them.

guess some more enthusiasm from ebay.

Thats not true,I've sent 3 messages today alone, and I just checked all of them, and none of them posted the message on the auction.

Right now it is. but it was like TLCCOMP said. It seemed to changed back to when you can mark it so others can see it.
