Question on Pentium 100 w/ goldcap

Hi,

I found two guys have the same Pentium 100 SX962 with top and bottom markings showed as following.

As I know, P-100 serial number normally begins with "L", but this one begins with "C". I'm a little confused. Could anyone help to explain, or do you also have such P-100 on hand?

serial begin in C = packaging done in USA (A4)
serial begin in L = packaging done in Malaysia (MALAY)

By the way, do you know how many fonts Intel used for the print at the bottom of CPUs? And what's their difference? I just wondered why the font at the bottom of this P-100 so askew~ (I found the same font on some other chips but not much.)
