This is fixed.
| Quote: | | just one little error Wink the 150 is the oddball and has a Vcore of 3.1V |
I've got 2.9V for mobile A80502150 from SY058 specifications, which came from Pentium specification update. The specification update could be incorrect. I need a bit more time to research it, and, if I won't find anything, I'll add 3.1V core voltage to A80502150 in addition to 2.9V.

maybe to save some time
from >> PENTIUM ® PROCESSORS WITH VOLTAGE REDUCTION
TECHNOLOGY datasheet
| Quote: | Voltage Reduction Technology
- 2.9V VCC for core supply
(75/90/100/120/133 MHz)
- 3.1V VCC for core supply
(150 MHz)
- 3.3V VCC for I/O buffer supply |
| Quote: | 7.1.3. DC SPECIFICATIONS
Tables 31, 32 and 33 list the DC specifications which
apply to the SPGA Pentium processor with voltage
reduction technology. The SPGA Pentium processor
with voltage reduction technology core operates at
2.9V (3.1V for 150 MHz) internally while the I/O
interface operates at 3.3V. The CLK input may be at
3.3V or 5V. Since the 3.3V (5V safe) input levels
defined in Table 32 are the same as the 5V TTL
levels, the CLK input is compatible with existing 5V
clock drivers. The power dissipation specification in
Table 34 is provided for design of thermal solutions
during operation in a sustained maximum level. This
is the worst-case power the device would dissipate in
a system for a sustained period of time. This number
is used for design of a thermal solution for the device. |
from >> Pentium® Processor Specification Update
both June, 1997 & January 1999
sSpec notes
| Quote: | 2. VRT Intel’s Voltage Reduction Technology: The V CC for I/O is 3.3V, but the core VCC, accounting for about 90% of power
usage, is reduced to 2.9V, to reduce power consumption and heating. |
but in Specification changes
| Quote: | 2. 150 MHz Active Power Dissipation (typical) Change
These new specifications for Pentium processors at 150 MHz active power dissipation (typical) apply ONLY
to the mcC0 stepping (mobile specific) TCP parts. The previous, preliminary range giving typical power (3.8
to 5.0 W) for VCC Core of 2.9V has been reduced to the range (3.4 to 4.5 W). Parts with a V CC Core of 3.1V
are specified to have a typical power range (3.8 to 5.0 W).
Parameter Previous Value (Watts) Current Value (Watts)
150 MHz Active Power N/A 3.8 – 5.0 W @ 3.1V
(typical) Dissipation 3.8 – 5.0 W @ 2.9V 3.4 – 4.5 W @ 2.9V |
so the datasheet lists both SPGA & TCP 150s as 3.1V, but the update says only the TCP as far as I can read
on a side issue....looks like also some 120 & 133 SPGA ES mobiles were also 3.1V (mcC0-Step Engineering Sample SPGA Units only) _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:
